Play-based learning in a safe and wondrous environment is at the heart of our practice.
Together we play, we learn, we have fun.
Underpinning everything we do at FELC is the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Through which, each child’s individual learning pathway is considered across physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development areas.
Our education leaders work consistently with room leaders and educators to reflect on curriculum to ensure program planning is inclusive of all children and acknowledges developmental changes within the group throughout the year.
Play based learning is at the heart of our curriculum.
It is through play that the child can truly immerse themselves in learning, play offers rich opportunities for the child to challenge their ideas and form new understandings of the world around them.
Our ongoing goal is to support children to build and develop their sense of belonging, be their best selves and become confident through their experiences.
This is achieved by planning and implementing learning through play, creating a culture of inclusion and equity and through nurturing respectful relationships.
