Considered spaces

Our welcoming spaces proactively encourage exploration, collaboration, creativity and problem solving.

An investment in our future

As a not-for-profit centre we reinvest funds back into the key things that make FELC wonderful – specifically we ensure it is our team of educators and our play-based learning resources that are prioritised. As part of our five year strategic plan we also look ahead at how we can continue to upgrade and improve our rooms and outdoor spaces.

Time and space to explore

Our learning environments are rich with exciting possibilities and spaces to explore. Our philosophy is to allow children the time and space to be able to lead their own play. As a result, we see children rapidly advance their skills across a number of developmental areas including social, language, gross and fine motor skills.

NATURE PLAY

Each child’s development and learning is maximised in a fun and natural way, supported by a holistic educational program. We have an outdoor policy which encourages as much outside play and rest time as possible. We love the outdoor spaces we have curated; abundant with mature trees and shady areas, pumps and creeks for water play, age-appropriate equipment made from natural materials, edible gardens and even chooks to care for.

We have been at Fremantle ELC for 5 years, both my children have had the opportunity to develop socially and emotionally in a safe and supportive environment. The educators and management have demonstrated genuine interest in each and every child's progress and development. I served on the committee for three years and saw the 'behind the scenes' operations of the service are consistent with their values and mission. Every child and every family is valued and welcomed.
